I just found out that the husband of a friend of mine passed away the other day.
I never met him, but he must have been a wonderful man, because she is a wonderful woman, and people like that seem to hang around each other.
I am so sorry for her loss, and can't imagine what she and her son must be going through.
I just can't go on with posting trivial bits of news and thoughts without acknowledging that this happened.
I'm thinking of you.

Recently returned from vacation and saw this post which brought on a sinking feeling that I know this family. So so sorry for their loss and all the emotional trauma they've endured over the last few years.
