Happy New YARN !

I'm using all these luscious colours to make an afghan. In the New Year.

I do have some resolutions, but they are quite similar to many other peoples'.

I do have some reflections, but those are similar too.

Great minds think alike, eh?

So Happy New Yarn, Happy New Year, Snappy Poo Beer, Flappy Dew Spear.....

and here's to 2010!

Pretty colours, Kathryn!! Is that the Vanna White yarn or something different?

Hi Kathryn,
It is a nice granny square. My grandmother used to make granny square afghans with yarn leftovers. She joined the squares with black and edged the entire afghan with black. It was quite striking.

Hi Kathryn! Love all those colors.

Happy New Year to you and Dave!

Jacquie,
Three of the skeins are Vanna's and the others are all Red Heart Super Soft. Just love those colours!

Linda,
I've seen that striking look and I know I'll have to make one of those in the future. So many colour combinations, so little time!

Crochet is something I've never quite got the hang of but I love your little crochet medallion, the blanket is going to be stunning.

Happy Niew Jaar from Belgium, Kath! (At least I think that's how it's spelled...)
I brought several skeins of wool back with me, intending to knot those scarves that never got done before Christmas. You're much better than I am at that sort of thing!
Glad to see you popping up here more often - keep it up, okok??
Big hug to you, and happy knitting of that afghan.

Love,
Deb
